The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC)

The HLAC is a non-profit organization that was created to inspect and accredit laundries that process healthcare textiles for nursing homes,hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. It is a voluntary process to become accredited by the HLAC. The council is made up of a 12-person board of directors that serves on a voluntary basis. 

The HLAC Mission: To accredit laundries processing healthcare textiles based on the highest standards for patient safety and infection prevention.
